All of our balustrades are designed to comply with the requirements of
the Building Regulations. The most popular choices for balustrades designs
are metal or glass, however we can supply balustrades manufactured from
wood, rope and wire.

Metal
Both steel and stainless steel are widely used and offer great
flexibility in design. The strength of these materials allows relatively
thin sections to be used, which minimise any interference with the
view from the balcony when seated. We have a variety of standard
designs of metal balustrades but many customers ask for a unique
design to complement other features on their homes.

Glass
Glass allows an almost uninterrupted view from the balcony. We
only use 10mm thick toughened safety glass, which can be provided
clear, tinted or mirrored on the outside only to provide some privacy.
Designs can be screen printed onto the glass to give interest.

Wiring
Combinations of wiring and glass can be used to great effect.

Most of our balustrade designs can be provided with a wooden capped top
rail to match the deck of the balcony.
