There are three main options to support your balcony,
Columns
Columns provide a versatile means of support for the balcony
and can be used in most locations. Both round and square section
columns can be used to complement the architecture of a house.
Columns can intrude into the space below the balcony, so other
options are available.
Brackets
Brackets can be used to support the balcony from the walls of
a house. The brackets are designed to complement the house and
the balcony and avoid any intrusion into the area below. Brackets
are particularly suitable for installations above the second floor
or where there is restricted space below.
Internal fixing
This method provides a very elegant means of supporting a balcony.
Support beams are fitted below the floor of the house and attached
to an internal wall, or the existing floor joists. Some internal
disruption is inevitable, as our engineers need to lift the existing
floor coverings, however all of our work is carried out quickly
and efficiently with the minimum of disruption to homeowners.
